The roxyproxy.org site redirects to webhistorian.org, the follow-up project. Development on RoxyProxy has ended, as the approach of using a proxy server is far less useful than it was in 2010. Now most websites use “https” encryption, which doesn’t allow a proxy to access any information. In general this is a good thing, as the web is becoming more secure. However, it means that a new approach is needed to continue partnering with users to research web browsing behavior. Web Historian is the follow-up project.
